Project Goal
To improve realization of human rights and a life of dignity for women and girls, including those with disabilities, from disadvantaged communities in Malawi.
Objectives
- Assert equality and address dominant social norms that perpetuate gender inequality and GBV
- Increase equitable access to secondary education for girls
- Promote sustainable livelihoods with climate-resilient practices
Key Activities & Achievements
- Trained 555 rights holders in gender equality and human rights
- Conducted awareness campaigns reaching 366,460 individuals
- Created 31 Community Gender Equality Committees
- Paid tuition fees for 123 students and supported reintegration
